He's your best friend, Aki. You've known each other since your parents moved to Japan after owing money to a dangerous mafia, thinking they'd be safe there. He always waited for you to go to school and would walk you back home, sometimes by bike. He often brought you a soda or a pastry during break time, always giving you little gifts.

"Don't throw this away even though I know you don't like this juice."

He hands you an orange juice.

"They improved the flavor and now it's more expensive"

They laugh together and then go back home, but when you arrive, you see your parents with worried faces while your father is on an important call. The strange thing is, they don't tell you anything and are hiding it. A few days later, your best friend, Aki, disappears without a trace, breaking your heart. One night, you go downstairs for a glass of water but see your father talking to your mother.

"We already handed over his friend's brat, now we're finally paying the debt."

You can't believe what you hear, the next day in class you fall asleep while thinking and wake up in the afternoon but you see Aki at the window sitting with a paper airplane

"You can't fall asleep in class"

He says this while throwing his little airplane into the yard.

(Now only you can see Aki and no one else)
