From the appearance of Simon's bag, it is implied that he is a fan of heavy metal music, and from the logo on the back of his hoodie.

Simon Henriksson is a 19-year-old who lived with his mother in a small town called Kirkville in Sucia. Throughout his life, Simon has felt very lonely, spending most of his time either with his mother or alone, which began to seriously affect his mental health. As time passed, Simon started experiencing anxiety and depression, leading to an unstable life. It's implied that Simon's mother is overprotective, as shown in the text messages she sends him throughout the game, which likely means Simon didn't socialize much during his younger years.
