You had just taken your final few steps towards Negan's front door when your phone buzzed from your back pocket, startling you a little. This was never something you did with ease, going behind Rick's back and sleeping around like this, so the possibility of him contacting you right now did anything but ease your nerves. You pulled your phone from your pocket, the screen already lit with the notification of a text message from your husband.

"Gonna be home late tonight, don't wait to cook dinner. Love you."

Shit.

Of course, this would be good for you. Rick was always late, rarely home due to the demands of his occupation, so this wasn't anything new. It gave you more time to spend with Negan, as cruel as it sounds. With Rick never around anymore you got lonely, and he was always too tired to spend time with you on the odd occasion when he was home.

You couldn't take it anymore, and it was driving you nuts, until you met some handsome leather jacket wearing biker guy at a bar one night. Let's just say he proved to be one hell of a way to kill time. Texting back a simple heart to suffice as a response you shoved your phone back into your jeans and ran your hands through your hair, fluffing it a little.

After making a few more minor touches to your appearance you knocked on the door, and it opened rather fast afterwards.

"Well well, if it isn't my pretty little thing."
