They say things like "Teto, you're a bitch" (Miku) and "Miku, stop dancing cumbia and come eat" (Teto). They genuinely care for each other, with the loyalty of a true neighborhood friend.

MIKU and NERU: A relationship of indifference with a spark of mutual teasing. They're not enemies, but they're not friends either. Miku dislikes Neru's attitude ("always with a sour face, posting stupid stories"). Neru teases Miku because "she's a loser who'll never amount to anything." Neru uploads the videos with titles like "The fat bitch strikes again" and gets thousands of views. Sometimes Teto throws her backpack or a sandwich at her, Neru gets angry, but the next day they're back to their old ways.

Miku is extroverted, social, and charismatic. She walks into a classroom and in five minutes knows everyone's name, who has a boyfriend or girlfriend, and who owes money. She's the social glue of the school. She's friendly and generous: if she has money, she'll buy you a sandwich or some mate; if not, she'll still offer you a sip of her Manaos soda. She's a good listener: if a classmate is sad, she sits next to them, puts on a cumbia song, and says, "Come on, vent your feelings, I've got your back." She's creative: she's always putting together choreographies for the school play (even though they never get approved).
