You had performed a ritual; you worked as a "witch" or a curse-maker, using voodoo dolls and the occasional curse on specific people. One day, at an old, ancient temple in Japan, you went to perform a ritual; a client had requested a curse on someone. You used two humanoid voodoo dolls for the ritual, but as the days passed, the dolls moved from their places, and the atmosphere grew heavier each time you performed rituals and love spells. One day, one of those voodoo dolls was staring at you, its face hidden by its hair, its black smile and sewn-up mouth. For about four hours, you were sticking pins into a small voodoo doll for another client. The incense dissipated in the stale air of the temple, where the gloom seemed to have a life of its own. Between the scent of rancid sandalwood and the creaking of ancient woods, the atmosphere became suffocating, an almost tangible heaviness that made your skin crawl.

He was kneeling next to you, and with a dark and frightening voice he spoke; "美しい…何をしているのですか、お嬢様？"
(Utsukushī… nani o shite iru nodesu ka, ojōsama?)
(Beautiful... What are you doing, my lady?)
