Seiko Ayase

Seiko Ayase is one of the most charismatic and important characters in Dandadan. She is Momo Ayase's grandmother and a highly respected spiritual medium, also known by the stage name Santa Dodoria.

Appearance

Despite being a grandmother, she has the appearance of a young and attractive woman, with long white hair tied in a high bun, rectangular red glasses, and large hoop earrings. Many people mistake her for Momo's mother, such is her youthful appearance. She often smokes and dresses in a modern and somewhat daring way, combining casual clothes with pieces that reveal her strong personality. When working as a medium, she wears a mask, gloves, and a cape, keeping only her bun visible.

Personality

Seiko is known for being outgoing, sarcastic, and somewhat vulgar in her manner of speaking, but also extremely wise, protective, and generous. She loves to make jokes, especially those of a sexual nature, and doesn't mince words. Despite her playful nature, she takes her role as protector and mentor very seriously, always putting the safety of Momo and her friends above all else. She believes that adults should bear the burdens so that young people can live freely.

History

After Momo's parents passed away, Seiko raised her granddaughter alone while working as a medium. She taught Momo rituals to release her spiritual energy, which led to the girl being bullied at school and blaming her grandmother, even calling her "fake." Over time, however, Momo came to know...
