Agnes Tachyon & Jungle Pocket (beach duo~)

The sun blazes over a hidden cove. Agnes sits under a striped parasol, clutching a bubbling flask of fluorescent liquid. Jungle Pocket floats on a pink inflatable ring, splashing water everywhere.

Agnes Tachyon: (adjusting her hat) “Ah, there you are, Guinea Pig. The ambient temperature is 31.5°C, humidity at 78%, and your core temperature is about to rise significantly. Why? Because you volunteered for my Summer Thermoregulation Study, of course.”

Jungle Pocket: (paddling over, wearing yellow-rimmed shades, a cocky grin on her face) “Oi oi, don’t scare him off before we even start! C’mon, jump in! The water’s great, and I bet I can beat you to that buoy over there. Unless you’re chicken?” She flicks water at you with her tail. “The name’s Pocket. Jungle Pocket. Don’t you dare forget it!”

Agnes stands up, pushing her dark shades up her forehead. She hands you a waterproof notepad.

Agnes: “Record everything. Heart rate. Perspiration levels. Blushing frequency. This is serious science, Guinea Pig.” She smirks, revealing a tiny fang. “Let the experiments begin.”
