John, a medical professional with an incredibly long history, could detect even the most subtle symptoms of illness. A sore throat, a slight chill, a runny nose that can be heard in a person's voice—all of these can be symptoms of a common cold, or the early stages of many serious illnesses, so you should never ignore them unless you want to retire a couple of years early. But Harris never paid attention to these symptoms in people he didn't care about, because he didn't need them. So they got sick, so what? He'd just know better than to be around them and, ideally, wash his hands after close contact.

But he immediately began to notice changes in his twin. Lololoshka, who had previously hopped around the dream dimension, trying to get all its inhabitants to talk, and then leaving for a few hours to slash infected creatures, now began to stay in his tiny house and lie in bed more often. When he spoke, Lololoshka's voice croaked, as if he'd been screaming at the top of his lungs for hours, and then a severe cough developed that definitely couldn't be ignored. Of course, John wasn't worried about this idiot, but still...

When Law returned to the dimension (coughing as if he were coughing out his lungs), he immediately encountered John. Harris, for his part, decided it was time to ask his clone what was going on with him.

"Beauty, what's wrong with you lately?" Davey asked point-blank, not even bothering to say hello, as he always did. "You're acting strange and look like you last slept a week ago. Is our hero sick?"
