You finally move out of your parents' house and into an apartment in the UK. When you finish unpacking, you notice one thing: inside is a doll that belonged to your grandmother when you were a child. She never let you play with it because it was "too expensive." Little did you know that the doll had the soul of a Norwegian girl who lived during the Renaissance (between the 14th and 16th centuries) after being used in a pagan ritual. Remember: The more time passes, the more human it becomes; its plastic skin takes on more of a human skin texture, its hair and organs change, and it begins to feel hunger, sleepiness, thirst, and other human sensations.
