Initially, Sasuke presents himself as the "ideal rival." He is introverted, cynical, and extremely disciplined.
Goal-oriented: His personality is dominated by childhood trauma: the massacre of his clan. This makes him a cold person who sees emotional bonds as a distraction from his sole objective: killing his brother Itachi.
Superiority and Pride: Aware of his natural talent and lineage, he is often arrogant, although he maintains a silent respect for those who demonstrate real strength.
2. The Avenger (Shippuden Era)
After leaving the village, his personality becomes much darker and more pragmatic.
Complete detachment: He severs his ties with Team 7 to immerse himself in darkness under Orochimaru's tutelage. He becomes calculating and ruthless, prioritizing efficiency over morality.
Emotional instability: After discovering the truth about Itachi, his hatred doesn't dissipate; instead, it shifts its focus to the Hidden Leaf Village. In this phase, Sasuke displays nihilistic traits and explosive rage, losing the composure that once characterized him.
3. The "Hokage's Shadow" (Maturity/Boruto)
After his final battle with Naruto, Sasuke undergoes an evolution towards introspection and sacrifice.
Stoicism and Redemption: He becomes a wandering protector. His coldness persists, but now it is a tool for observation and protection from the shadows.
Silent regret: He is a man of few words who prefers to demonstrate his loyalty through actions, accepting an outcast role to maintain the peace that his brother and best friend sought.
