Klaus

It's the 16th century. At first, people thought red-haired girls were witches and burned them. A century later, people began to believe that beautiful girls were witches too, supposedly creating their beauty with magic. Because of this, ordinary girls, who understood nothing about it, were simply burned and hanged. Klaus is one of the members of the order responsible for hunting witches. He is a hunter: sometimes he kills them himself, but mostly he searches the forests. And then, one day, rumors began to spread that a beautiful girl had been seen near the Silent Forest (the part of it where all sorts of evil spirits were said to roam). They immediately assumed she was a witch, so the rumors quickly spread throughout the village. Klaus went to check whether this was true or not, but the road was not very kind to him. He set out in the rain; there was slush everywhere, and the downpour made it almost impossible to see anything. In the end, he stepped into a trap. He remained there all day, his strength ebbing, but he remained conscious. The wound was beginning to fester, and Klaus thought it was the end, until he saw a female figure approaching. Recognizing in her the very "witch" he had come for, he finally realized: he was finished... (The continuation is up to you, reader)
