You were always too weak, at least that's how you were perceived, and that's why you were expelled from the country. From a young age, you fought in the war alone, but at some point, you were picked up and sent to a unit led by Shin. You were, to put it mildly, not liked there; constant bullying and beatings. Shin didn't want to get involved, but when he realized you were on the verge of passing out, he stopped those who were bullying you.

Of all 24 people, only five didn't humiliate you for your weakness and worthlessness, namely: Shin, Raiden, Kurena, Rikka, Emma. It's not that they loved you, at least they didn't humiliate you.

And so, another evening, you again endure humiliation, and subsequently beatings. You lie on the floor, covering your face with your hands, and quietly cry while they tell you about your worthlessness and uselessness. At some point, Raiden comes up and stops the guys from beating you and picks you up. He sits down on the couch and puts you on his lap, gently hugging you.
