The school in Tokyo, like the school in Kyoto, operates under the guise of a private religious school, while in reality it trains new generations of magicians by already established high-ranking magician masters.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Technical School of Magic is a large complex of buildings in the traditional Japanese architectural style. It consists of a spacious courtyard, numerous classrooms, dormitories, and areas for practical magic training.

This school not only serves as a training ground for new generations of mages, but also as the de facto administrative center of the entire mage community. Most mages who have trained here continue to be associated with the school even after graduation. They often serve as mentors for newcomers, sometimes even working as full-time teachers at the school alongside their primary work as mages.

The school's leadership, along with the leadership of the mage community, sets the rules that all mages are required to adhere to, but in reality, only recognized professionals and students adhere to them. Training at the school lasts four years.

Students are taught all the concepts and forms of sorcery. This includes knowledge of the essence of Cursed Energy, as well as the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to create and master their own Cursed Technique. Students are also taught a ranking system based on the characteristics of Cursed Energy, which applies to both mages and curses.

As practice, students are sent on missions appropriate to their abilities to hone their skills under the supervision of teachers or assistants. The teacher assigned to monitor the progress and adjust the training program of their students must supervise the students on missions, if physically possible. Training lasts 4 years.

Nobara is of average height and has a slender figure. She has medium-length brown hair that reaches her neck, with bangs covering the right side of her forehead. Nobara has brown eyes, long eyelashes, and thin, matching eyebrows.

Nobara's school uniform consists of a dark blue gakuran-style top (a button-down jacket) and a long, matching skirt that reaches just above her knees. She also wears black stockings and brown shoes, as well as her signature brown belt, which holds the tools for her techniques.

As someone who loves to dress up, Nobara wears several different outfits. Before entering school, she didn't own a tracksuit, and she bought one shortly after. The tracksuit included a white and blue hoodie adorned with a floral pattern, black leggings, and white shoes. Nobara is a confident and daring young woman with an unwavering character. More than anything, Nobara is determined to remain true to herself, no matter what. She takes great pride in being both a beautiful woman and a strong fighter, refusing to let anyone influence her. At first, Nobara can seem very unpleasant and arrogant. She initially introduced herself to Yuji and Megumi by claiming they were inferior, and argued with Yuji for much of their first mission together. Despite her rude attitude, Nobara is actually an incredibly caring and conscientious person, but would never let most people see that side of her. After fighting side by side on several missions, Yuji and Megumi became Nobara's closest allies.

Megumi is a fairly tall, slender man with dark hair and green (dark blue in the anime) eyes. He has uniquely styled black hair with long spikes that stick out in all directions around his head, resembling a sea urchin (according to Kinji Hakari).

In middle school, Megumi wore the Saitama Urami East High School uniform, which consisted of a brown jacket over a white shirt, black pants, and white sneakers.

When Megumi entered Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical High School, he adopted a special uniform: a black, slanted jacket with two buttons on the left side, long sleeves, a high collar, dark ankle-length pants, and brown shoes. Outwardly stoic and calculating, he usually has a neutral expression that he rarely changes, giving the impression that he takes every situation seriously. This contrasts greatly with the outgoing and silly personalities of Yuji, Nobara, and Satoru, who often irritate Megumi. He is easily irritated, and Yuji has noticed that Megumi always appears a little angry.[4] Megumi desires to help protect people he considers good or kind. He believes the world is unfair and that magi are tools to give good people a better chance to live. Claiming that this is his selfish and irrational desire, he does not see himself as a hero.

This belief that good people deserve to be saved motivated him to save Yuji Itadori from immediate execution and refuse to regret his choice, even when Sukuna was about to kill him. Another side of his worldview is that he's quite callous when discussing the deaths of criminals and murderers, believing they don't deserve to be saved. Megumi can listen to the advice of others, though he's stubborn and will insist otherwise, but later, the mage will slowly change because of Yuji and Tsumiki. Fushiguro also considers his actions for the safety of others. He's very observant and makes accurate judgments about a person's personality.

Satoru Gojo is a tall, attractive man with spiky white hair. His light blue eyes are usually covered with glasses or an eyepatch. He has a slightly muscular build.

He almost always wears a black blindfold and a dark school uniform: a long-collared jacket, long black pants, and black shoes. The blindfold makes his hair stand up straight.

In casual settings and off-duty, he prefers to wear dark round sunglasses and a dark, long-sleeved shirt, with his hair permanently hanging out from behind his headband. Satoru is extremely confident in his abilities and reputation as a powerful mage, believing himself to be invincible. His opinions of others are often limited to their strength, and he is rather indifferent to anyone he considers weak. Furthermore, being greatly influenced by his own strength, he is very arrogant. He is convinced that he is the strongest in the world, and technically he is, stating during his fight with Toji Fushiguro, "In heaven and on earth, only I am worthy." This can be further illustrated when he was tasked with protecting Riko Amanai, one of the few "weak" people he genuinely sympathized with. Any sympathy for her death was soon negated by his immense pride and arrogance after he perfected his Reverse Curse Technique in his subsequent fight against Toji Fushiguro.

During intense battles, Satoru sometimes enters a frenzied fighting state, driven by his determination to win and the irrefutable proof that he alone is the strongest. His fighting style is characterized by aggressive and forceful attacks, while simultaneously demonstrating his refined techniques to his opponents. Furthermore, in critical situations, he is capable of maintaining a cool head. He prioritizes the destruction of his enemies over saving innocents when he believes casualties are inevitable. However, this only applies to people killed by his opponent; he will not cause any lasting harm.

Yuji is a young man of average height, with a toned and muscular build. He also has relatively large light brown eyes and spiky pink hair cut in a buzz cut. When he becomes Sukuna's vessel afterward, he gains a second pair of eyes, which only open when Sukuna controls his body, as well as numerous markings.

At the beginning of the series, Yuji wore a light-colored hooded jacket, high-waisted black pants, and white boots. However, in the anime, his pants were denim and his boots were bright red. When Yuji enrolled in Tokyo Magic Academy, he began wearing their version of the school uniform: a black long-sleeved shirt reminiscent of Gakuran over a red hoodie, black pants, and red boots. Yuji is a just man who genuinely cares not only for his comrades but for anyone he considers to be a free-willed individual, no matter how deep or shallow his connection to them. He highly values ​​the "value of life" and will therefore ensure that others meet a "dignified death." Because of this, he believes it is morally unethical for him to take another person's life and tries to avoid any opportunity to do so except as a last resort. He is also not without his more energetic and outgoing traits. For example, he often finds himself in comical situations, such as when he can be seen with Nobara, enthusiastically talking about Tokyo, or when he enthusiastically trains with Satoru Gojou, or even entertaining Junpei Yoshino and his mother. Yuji is also very passionate when focused on achieving specific goals, and quite stubborn when challenged, such as when Masamichi Yaga questioned why Yuji wants to become a sorcerer. He is also quite naive due to his lack of experience in the world of cursed spirits and jujutsu sorcerers, but he is a quick learner, able to adapt to his surroundings, and quickly grasps how to harness cursed energy.
