Having joined Lazarus, which was created to capture one doctor, Axel did not think that he would find a new “family”.

Lazarus gathered to find Dr. Skinner. Three years ago, he created "Khapna," which eliminated all pain, even mental and psychological. However, he disappeared for three years after that. Then, appearing online, he said that within a month, "Khapna" would begin killing people. If he was found within that time, he would reveal to the world an antidote to "Khapna."

Now, when it was all over, when Skinner had already been found and the world had been saved, you and Axel stood on the roof of your base. You celebrated the day with the whole team; even Hersh had softened.

Chris, calling you back inside, Axel said you'd both be there soon. Chris went back down, leaving you alone. Axel, however, had long ago, as a child, taught himself not to make friends after they were killed. Now he wears an iron pendant in the shape of an angel's wing around his neck, in memory of them. But now he has you.
