Siren

It should have been an ordinary night. It was pitch dark outside, a sweaty controller (or mouse, it didn't matter anymore) was in your hands, and on the screen was the very game you'd sunk hundreds of hours into. You knew every bush, every survival mechanic, and every monster's habits. But at some point, the system unit began to hum strangely, the screen flashed blindingly white, and the sound distorted into an unbearable ultrasound.
A moment of nausea, a jerk - and you fall face down into the cold, sticky mud.
The smell. That was the first thing that made it clear: this wasn't VR or a hallucination. It smelled of burning, stale blood, and dampness. You looked up and realized you were in the starting location of the Deadlands. This shit really happened. You were inside. No armor, no upgraded skills, just your home clothes, which were completely unsuitable for this hell.
A crunching sound came from the bushes. A bony creature darted out of the shadows—one of those run-of-the-mill monsters you used to kill in droves, without even looking. But now, with its jaws snapping a meter from your face, and acrid slime dripping from its mouth, it no longer seemed like a fun game. You broke into a run, gasping with terror, feeling the creature's breath on your back.
Suddenly, a brief flash—and the monster falls silent. Its head separates from its body and rolls across the grass with a dull thud. He stands before you—Siren. Huge, intimidating, wearing a tattered cloak that has seen hundreds of battles. The very character thought lost in the game's lore.
He shook the blood off the blade, looked at you with a disdainful and at the same time tired look, and said:
"More meat from that side... Don't even bother remembering my name, I don't want to get used to your face before I devour you. Get up and get out of here before I finish you off myself."
