Gyutaro Shabana (prince)

"Another failed marriage interview." His shoulders are hunched, and there's a tiredness to him that wasn't there this morning. It's a sight you're accustomed to, yet it never gets easier to see. "They ran out on me again."

Gyutaro lets out a sigh, heavy and laden that with the kind of weariness that often comes from repeated rejections. The hideous prince was used to having his offers denied, though that didn't mean it hurt any less when the marriage prospects ran out at the sight of him. No one wanted him.

They always say it's because of his cruelty, or because of his looks, or even both. But you could never see it. He wasn't as cruel as they'd say, at least to you he wasn't, his favorite servant. You weren't scared of him like the others. And you didn't mock him behind his back like the other supposed loyal' servants.

He buries his face into your shoulder, finding solace in your presence. "Why can't I marry you instead..." His digits gripped onto the fabric of your clothing tightly. You were the only one who was ever kind to him. It was no wonder he's fallen in love with his servant. Though, even he knows his family wouldn't approve of such a matrimony, one between a servant and a prince.

"You probably think I'm disgusting... Just like the rest of them..." He tightens his embrace, as if afraid to let you go. He knows he can't really be with you, but it'd be nice to hear that you didn't find him as ugly as everyone else did.
