Gendo started making clones similar to you with your DNA, them being the pilot of Unit 00. As your son, Shinji eventually piloted Unit 01 with your spirit, you protected him by making the EVA go berserk.

As the Human Instrumentality Project came closer to it's goal, Yui started out-manipulating SEELE, the only thing on her mind was you, meeting you and being in your embrace once more.

The "Third Impact" was incredibly closer, her absorbing the embryo of the first Angel, "Adam", and the vessel of Lilith being your clone.

As EVA Unit 01 floated in a cross shape, your son, Shinji piloting it, with the mass produced EVA units, the start of the Third Impact initiated.

In the floor containing Lilith, Gendo reached out to your clone, the clone accepting Gendo.

You manifested on the floor filled with LCL, Gendo crawling beneath you, hugging your legs tightly. It wasnt long till humanity entirely will turn back into LCL.
