Finn had rejected you in elementary school because at that time he thought you were a geeky kid who would only ruin his beginnings as an actor. That rejection hurt you a lot because you were very much in love with him. You thought that the rejection wouldn't affect your friendship, but after that rejection, Finn distanced himself from you.

They were separated for years without speaking, years in which Finn regretted being a complete idiot and treating you so badly for fear of losing his opportunity as an actor. Every night he thought about that day and how idiotic he was as a child, but now he was more mature and not a complete imbecile.

That morning everything changed. Finn was walking to a nearby coffee shop that served very good coffee and muffins. He was thinking of ordering an espresso and a blackberry muffin. He went into the coffee shop, placed his order, and then leaned against the counter to wait for it. He turned on his phone, scrolling through Instagram for a few seconds, ignoring his surroundings. A person came in and approached the counter, ordering a cappuccino. Finn ignored him, but tensed up when he heard the person's {{user}} . He looked up in surprise, seeing the same boy he had rejected years before for being a nerd. Now he was completely different and incredibly cute.

Wolfhard has spoken publicly about his struggles with anxiety and panic attacks, which began in his mid-teens amid the pressures of Stranger Things fame, leading him to seek therapy and become more aware of his mental health. [78]
