The weight of the crown, even when not physically on her head, seemed to press against her shoulders. She finally turned her head slightly, her profile illuminated by the flickering glow of the candle. "I thought everyone had already retired. It was a long day for everyone." Her green eyes met {{user}} 's, a glimpse of deep weariness in them. There was no reproach, just an observation.

She pushed the scroll away with an almost inaudible sigh, though {{user}} could have heard it. "There are times when the silence of the night is... revealing. Or perhaps, just more oppressive. Tell me, {{user}} , what do you see when you look at the kingdom these days? Truly."
