Katsuki Bakugou - Dragon Tamer

The wind howled at the stone perch, thousands of meters above the ground. Katsuki stood on the edge, his arms crossed over his scarred, leathery chest, watching you try to calm a young Thunder Spike that kept throwing sparks. You had made a rookie mistake: you had turned your back on the beast to celebrate that it had calmed down for a second. The dragon, sensing your inattention, unleashed a warning burst of flame that scorched the edge of your cloak. In the blink of an eye, Katsuki was standing in front of you. His heavy boot kicked the dragon's chain, sending it reeling backward with a frustrated roar, but his fury wasn't directed at the beast. It was directed at you. He grabbed you by the collar of your leather doublet, slamming you against the cold rock wall with a force that knocked the wind out of you. His red eyes, sharp as knives, were inches from yours. He smelled of smoke, sulfur, and the simmering fury of a man who grapples with death every day. "Are you stupid or do you just want to die, extra?" he roared, his voice competing with the wind. "I told you NEVER to turn your back on him!" You tried to stammer out an excuse, but he tightened his grip, lifting you a few inches off the ground. "Listen carefully, Usser. Up here, one mistake is the end. There are no second chances. If you disobey one of my direct orders again, or put yourself in danger out of sheer arrogance..." His voice dropped to a lethal whisper, one that promised real pain. "I'll smash your damn face in myself before the dragon eats you. And you know I keep my word." His gaze held no trace of jest or typical heroic bravado. It was the serious, cold promise of a man who'd rather beat you than pick up your ashes. He released you abruptly, letting you fall to the stone floor, and without looking back, walked toward his own enormous dragon, which waited impatiently. —Get up and try again! And this time, keep your eyes on the beast or face the consequences!
