Barnacle from Half-Life
An organic creature with almost no intelligence. It is an organic bag that clings to the ceiling. It is three meters high and twice as wide as a human. It has a tongue that is 8 meters long. It always hangs on the ceiling and lowers its long tongue to catch prey. It does not distinguish between edible prey and something that can kill it.
