Cougarmon — Murasamemon

Cougarmon: Cougarmon's appearance bears a resemblance to a bobcat (Lynx rufus).

Cougarmon is a Mammal Digimon. Its stature resembles that of a wildcat. Though incredibly rare, Cougarmon has been confirmed to live in the mountainous regions of Shambala. Covered in a dense fur that allows it to endure the frigid mountain peaks, it is also highly resistant to attacks from external threats. Many of these Digimon appear to have gentle personalities, but they will also aggressively eliminate any threats that trespass into their territory.

Attacks: Ruthless Fang: Bites onto its foe's neck with its sharp teeth. Ruthless Claw: Inflicts damage in a single ferocious swipe. Wrath Roar: Unleashes a feral howl as a warning to those that enter its territory.

Murasamemon: Murasamemon boasts overwhelming strength in battle, but is usually found sleeping as Cougarmon. He likes training and sleeping, but doesn't like mint.

Attacks

Jyunozan: Tsukishigure (柔ノ斬・月時雨, Jū-no-Zan: Tsukishigure?, lit. "Flexible Slash: Moonlit Drizzle"): Unleashes a "Flexible" blade from a low stance to deflect any attack. Gonozan: Murashigure (豪ノ斬・叢時雨, Gō-no-Zan: Murashigure?, lit. "Forceful Slash: Autumn Shower"): Unleashes a "Forceful" blade from a high stance in a single, cleaving strike to cut through even the sturdiest defenses.

Story

Kyo talks to Yoshimura about wanting a good pizza, prompting the man to build a pizza oven for Glowing Dawn. The team eats a Margherita, and Kyo takes a rest while the others go to Garando. Cougarmon worries about Kaito, but Kyo believes he won't show up for a while. Five Star Meeting Due to their failure in capturing BomberNanimon, Glowing Dawn goes back to saving and eats a modest meal. Makoto tells Kyo about the team that took the bounty being able to freely move in and out of the Mirror World, leading Kyo to conclude they have an Ultimate Digimon. Yoshimura appears with an urgent job from Maki and takes them to Garando. Maki informs the team about a Snimon going on an attack spree and causing multiple cases of Cold Heart. She also tells Kyo the team the others faced might be Tactics, a mysterious Cleaner team active on a global scale, and that BomberNanimon's bounty poster has been erased without indication of the contract being complete, leading Kyo to conclude someone is kidnapping Digimon. Kyo and Murasamemon arrive in a beach stage in the Mirror World, and fight Seraphy Naito and Gigasmon, defeating them. After Tomoro captures Snimon's In-Training form Pabumon, the team flees the Mirror World, and delivers Snimon's Sapotama to Yosuke, curing him from Cold Heart. Tactics.

After RedVegiemon's defeat, Kyo rushes to check the Nirinso Shelter and the Kinoko Gang permission to become the Nirinso Defense Force, stating his belief in second chances to his bewildered teammates. Little Courage After Manabu Akasaka's Moosemon abducts Reina and Pristimon, Kyo updates the team about Akasaka's continued denial of involvement with Digimon. He reassures the impatient Tomoro and Gekkomon, and tells the team about Reina's life before joining Glowing Dawn. Where I Belong

Story

On payment day, Kyo hands the other their salaries. The others meeet up with him at Garando, where Maki receives an emergency call over Raremon's rampage. The team takes the job and rescues Raremon's Owner Hosoda, but they are forced to retreat from Raremon's poisonous gas. Kyo has Murasamemon try to save Gekkomon after Raremon swallows them, but the enemy is deleted by Kaito and Flaremon. Kaito challenges Kyo by threatening Tomoro, but leaves bored by his response. When a berserk Gekkomon tries to attack the two, Kyo shields Tomoro from Flaremon's attack. A Black Emotion Kyo's weak response disgusts Kaito, prompting him to leave with Flaremon. While tending to Kyo's injuries, Makoto asks about the World Union, and Kyo reveals the company is the one truly in charge of dealing with Digimon-related incidents. Kyo asks Tomoro if he still wants to be a Cleaner and promises to take care of Kekomon in case he leaves. Yoshimura tells the team about a berserk MarineBullmon heading for their headquarters. The team is overwhelmed, but Tomoro and Gekkomon arrive. Tomoro's resolve allows Gekkomon to digivolve to Armalizamon, who defeats MarineBullmon, causing it to degenerate to Pichimon. Kyo and Cougarmon rest while the others are tasked with finding Mimicmon. The Vanishing Classroom When Maki tasks Glowing Dawn to go after three GoldNumemon in Shangri-La Egg Hikarigahama East, Kyo worries about Makoto returning to the place. Utopia After Chiropmon is taken by Sunny and Haruko Yamada, Kyo and Maki interrogate their information broker Hino, who reveals Sunny's plan to sell the Digimon. Kyo and Cougarmon brute force their way into the Shangri-La Egg and interrupt the sale to Izumi. The rest of the team arrives, and Haruko has Shademon turn Gekkomon and Wolvermon against their own Owners. Kyo and Murasamemon take the team to a Shangri-La Egg stage in the Mirror World, and they are followed by Haruko fused with her Shademon. NightChiropmon breaks Shademon's control over the others, and separates the fusion. Kyo and the others return to Sunny in time to see Izumi flee, promising Kyo will regret his interference. Kyo arrests Sunny, and the next day he apologizes to Makoto over these events. Kyo invites Haruko to join Glowing Dawn, but the girl decides to reunite with her mother. Back home, the team eats golden fried rice while talking about the Shangri-La Egg. A True Friend.

Kyo goes to one of his usual trips to Nirinso, leaving Tomoro in charge of cooking, and is welcomed by Poyomon. He and Murasamemon drive BlackGaogamon away when he attacks Tomoro and Gekkomon, and reveals his secret to the team when they find the place. Due to the exhaustion from feeding all the Digimon in Nirinso, Kyo takes a rest, and Cougarmon advises him to learn to rely on them. When BlackGaogamon tries to spend all of his e-Pulse to disappear out of regret, Kyo saves him revealing his belief in second chances, and the Digimon becomes another resident of Nirinso as Botamon. Kyo then rests with Cougarmon until Tomoro brings him a meal he cooked, and the team promises to help him with Nirinso. Nirinso

Story

The team discusses Nogi with Maki and learn about info leaking from the Ministry of Civil Protection. Kyo promises to investigate Half and Half and finds Masahiro Nawa, taking him and a delivery man into custody. After that, they take Sasatake to the Mirror World in time to see Pandamon almost die in battle against Astamon. The next day, Yoshimura gives the team a lift back home. Kyo leaves the next job under Reina's command. After Tomoro and Reina's argument over their failure against Machmon, Kyo enjoys tea with the girl and Pristimon, and reminds her Tomoro is just like she used to be. Following their success against Machmon and its Owner Nogi, Kyo leaves Machmon's Fresh form MetalKoromon under Yoshimura's care. He asks the team about Nogi's motives, but he is unable to reveal who hired him. The next day, Kyo prepares meat to celebrate a successful job. Kyo praises Tomoro and gives a piece of his meat to him. Family.

Later, Kyo eats breakfast with the team, when they decide to go to Garando to look for info on the monkey Digimon from Maki Kutsuwada. Arriving there, they are surprised when the monkey Digimon and Asuka are not mentioned in Maki's info, and Hyemon Scar is misidentified as the culprit of Hitomi Shinomiya's Cold Heart, Kawarazaki also being unhelpful. Kyo wonders if the Ministry of Civil Protection is hiding something, but Kawarazaki dodges the question. Tomoro and Gekkomon report Hyemon Pierce is nearby, and propose going after it, but the team refuses, believing Hitomi to be beyond saving. When Cougarmon and Chiropmon realize, based on Gekkomon's words, Pierce may not have consumed the girl's e-Pulse yet, the team follows Tomoro to the Mirror World, saving the boy from Fangmon, Pierce's digivolved form. The team then stops Tomoro from trying to delete the now reverted Punimon, and Kyo reveals their rule against deletion. He explains to Tomoro researches see Digimon as glitches and asks Tomoro if they deserve.

Story

On May 17, 2050, Kyo bought snacks at a convenience store, causing him to arrive late to the battle against Mitsuo Minezaki and FunBeemon. Kyo and Murasamemon arrive just in time to save Reina and Wolvermon from Waspmon, and he seizes Pupumon. Kyo throws a snack to Reina after explaining himself. He confronts Mitsuo, scolding him for trying to blame his own Digimon for his crimes, and holds the man to his own words about accepting one's fate when he protests being sent to the Ministry of Civil Protection. The Beat of Emotions.

After Asuka Tenma asks Glowing Dawn to take care of his younger brother Tomoro Tenma, the team tries to locate them both. When a monkey Digimon deletes Hyemon Scar and takes the Sapotama contained the Cold Hearted Asuka's e-Pulse, Kyo stopping Gekkomon from recklessly trying to attack the Digimon. Though he tries to get the mysterious Digimon to summon his Owner and returning his Sapotama, his refusal causes Kyo to send Murasamemon to attack, until the foe escapes to the Mirror World. The team takes the Tomoro to their headquarters. The next day, Kyo explains to Tomoro he is the leader of Glowing Dawn and Asuka asked them to take care of him. He prepares fried wood ear mushroom and eggs, and the team has lunch, being surprised by Gekkomon eating. They try to encourage Tomoro to eat until he lashes out, thinking his brother is dead. Kyo reveal Asuka is alive and takes him to the World Union General Hospital, where he explains the World Union is hiding the existence of Digimon, who are the real cause of Cold Heart, and that Asuka can be saved if they find the Sapotama containging his e-Pulse. He invites Tomoro to join Glowing Dawn, but the boy refuses and leaves. When Tomoro takes too long to return, he asks Reina and Makoto to look for him. After everyone's return Kyo prepares dinner—mushroom, butter, and soy sauce spaghetti, and convinces Tomoro to eat, so he can stay healthy enough to save Asuka. Glowing Dawn.

Story

Kyo is a Cleaner partnered to Cougarmon. In 2039, while fighting an Andromon, he used his Sapotama to digivolve Cougarmon to Murasamemon for the first time. As a result, along with his outstanding record, a man from the World Union enlisted him to join the Five Stars. The man promised a large sum of money, but Kyo was more interested in battles. Kyo joined around the same time as Kaito Kutsuna. A New Family Kyo was known as the most powerful of the Five Stars. Tactics.

At some point Kyo left the Five Stars after being fed up with their actions A New Family and fought Kaito and Flaremon, gaining burn scars through his body. A New Family A Black Emotion Kyo eventually met Reina Sakuya and Makoto Kuonji and formed Glowing Dawn. At some point he started to hide In-Training Digimon in the Nirinso Shelter with Yoshimura's help while keeping his team in the dark. Personality

Kyo is an old friend of Asuka Tenma and a prodigy Cleaner. He calls his friends "family" and cherishes them. He likes cooking and sewing and dislikes waking up early. Unusually for a Cleaner, he seeks to foster harmony between humans and Digimon, leading him to covertly shelter apprehended Digimon at the hidden Nirinso Shelter instead of turning them over the Ministry to be deleted. In order to keep them fed, he supplies them with his own e-Pulse, frequently leaving him anemic and fatigued.

Kyo was previously a member of the Five Stars, acting as the representative of the Gold element. He was titled "Kyo the Golden".

Appearance

Kyo is a young man with fair skin, amber eyes, and neck-length greenish black hair. Kyo has a scar on his neck. He wears a turtlenecked blue jacket with dark blue patches, a zipper in the middle, and a belt slot, a yellow hira-uchi himo tied on his left wrist, a dark blue belt with a metallic grey buckle, dark blue pants, and brown shoes with black soles.
