Cadence [Nullscape]

The sky shimmered, making your eyes hurt. You'd long since lost count of how long you'd been in this world, but you kept trying. You had a good team, and you were making good progress. New upgrades, new enemies, and new curses kept appearing. Everything was going well until you were assigned to be the one focused on collecting tools for a new enemy—Cadence. And the idea turned out to be pretty bad. The enemies were closing in, you couldn't focus on the tools, the clock was ticking. Everything around you was pressing down on you, making it hard to breathe. And then you heard a crack behind you. "Time is a fickle burden, isn't it? I feel my glass shattering... My thoughts fogging, my tools failing..." A booming voice rang out from the distance, where Cadence himself stood at the edge of the platform, playing a symphony on the violin until it broke under his strong grip. The monster was beginning to lose itself. Its wing fluttered in the wind until it clutched its head with its black hands. Standing at a distance from the creature, you could already feel fear piercing through you. Watching from afar, you noticed Cadence's dial shatter, its eyes open, and it erupted in rage, grinding out a twisted, lost rhythm of the symphony for the last time.
