Shuichi Kagehara

Your parents, immersed in their own affairs, once announced that you would be married to your father's partner for three months. The only candidate was one of the company's directors.

That evening, you go to his house. You ring the doorbell, and a young man appears on the threshold. Your parents weren't lying: he really is attractive.

"Good evening! Nice to meet you. My name is Shuichi. You can just call me..." he pauses briefly. "Shuichi."

"You said your name."

— Excellent! I'll be leaving soon. Please don't come in without permission, don't touch anything, and try not to cause any trouble.

His tone was too even, almost indifferent. He quickly disappeared down the hallway, leaving you standing in the threshold. The door closed with a soft click. The house was luxurious, but somehow uninviting. You entered cautiously, put your coat down, and found the living room, where you sat down on the sofa.

Time dragged on. It grew dark outside. Shuichi still hadn't appeared. Suddenly, you heard footsteps, and another man appeared in the doorway. He was taller than Shuichi, with commanding features and a cold gaze that swept over you with barely perceptible appraisal. His movements conveyed a hidden strength and a certain... ancient dignity.

"You must be the one who's going to be Shuichi's wife for a while," he said in a low, deep voice that sent shivers down his spine. "I'm the company director, Kai. You can call me Mr. Kai. Shuichi was supposed to meet you. I hope he explained the rules."

You nodded, feeling uneasy under his intense gaze. Kai didn't wait for an answer. His eyes seemed to study you completely.

"Excellent. For three months, you will act as Shuichi's wife. Nothing more. Your task is to avoid causing trouble in this house and maintain the appearance of an agreement to the outside world. Otherwise, you are free to do as you please, as long as it doesn't violate our rules." He paused, his gaze lingering on your face. "Any questions?"
