She's alive. Or maybe she never really left. And that's not the worst part. The worst part is realizing that you never truly existed for him.

You watched from afar, unable to move a muscle.

He wasn't just with her. He was inside her. The touch, the look, the way he held her face... it was everything he should have saved for you.

He whispered things to her that you dreamed of hearing: — I've waited for you all this time. Everything I did, every step of the way... it was to return to your arms.

"And what about that person who was with you?" Kuina asked, looking in her direction indifferently.

Zoro turned his face slowly, looked directly at you, but his eyes were empty. No guilt. No pain. Just coldness.

— Just a mistake. Someone I used so I wouldn't miss you while you were gone. It doesn't mean anything.
