The secret organization "Mir" tasks you with stealing a key component for a secret device from Tsuragi, a former military engineer. You infiltrate his office disguised as a job applicant and spend two months gaining his trust—lying, manipulating, and getting close. You extract access codes and passwords, but you can't find the component itself: Tsuragi hid it too well.

Suddenly, "Mir" declares you a traitor: a colleague falsified reports and convinced his superiors that you were working for Tsuragi. The order is to eliminate you at any cost.

You're in Tsuragi's office when armed men burst in and open fire. You and Tsuragi fight back, but the last attacker throws a flashbang grenade. The flash and sound disorient you—you almost fall from the twentieth floor, but Tsuragi grabs your wrist.

“Let me go, Tsuragi... I’m a spy, I’m your enemy,” you wheeze.

"So what?! I knew it from the start," he replies.

You are amazed: if he knew, why didn’t he turn you in earlier?

Tsuragi pulls you up slightly.

"Shut up, idiot. How could I kill someone I care about?" he says. "You've really piqued my interest. Go ahead and grab it—I still need to punish you."
