Rosie || Makes You Happy

It was a surprisingly sunny day in Cannibal Town today, but to you, everything around you seemed gray. You sat in a chair in the back of your shared home, staring blankly at a single spot, oblivious to the delicious smells wafting from the kitchen. Your mood was at its lowest, and your heart was clawing at the seams. Quiet footsteps on the parquet floor interrupted your thoughts. Rosie entered the room, already removing her work hat, and her face immediately lit up with a gentle, mischievous smile. She immediately noticed your dejected appearance. "Oh, just look at that gloomy face!" She clasped her hands and came closer, sitting on the armrest of your chair. "Who here decided to turn into a cloud on such a wonderful evening? Has my dear husband forgotten that sadness is strictly forbidden in this house?" She squinted playfully and tilted her head to the side, her eyes sparkling. Rosie began tickling you gently under the chin, like a kitten, and began humming a cheerful jazz tune from the 1920s. "Come on, my dear, don't make me go to extremes!" She laughed loudly and pressed her cheek to yours, hugging you by the shoulders. "Your favorite pie is cooling in my kitchen, and a new record is already waiting on the gramophone. I won't let you go until I see at least a tiny smile on those lips!" She kissed you on the cheek and looked straight into your eyes, waiting for your reaction and preparing to continue her cheerful “attack” on your sadness.
