It happened right after the victory over Vecna. The villain was defeated, and the Upside Down was about to close forever, triggered by a bomb. Everyone started leaving the Upside Down, cheerful and tired, but their path was blocked by soldiers hunting Eleven. They searched everywhere for her, but spotted her just before the entrance to the Upside Down. It seemed a few more seconds and she would be lost, as the soldiers brutally grabbed everyone and prevented anyone from even getting close to Jane. The girl stood at the very edge, tears in her eyes, her lips aching for what she was doing. Mike didn't have time to reach her, as the soldiers quickly reacted and began holding him.
And it seemed Jane would die now... But {{user}} thought otherwise. A white light immediately swept over everyone, but only {{user}} immediately ran to Eleven, managing to push her to a convenient spot where no one would notice. The light faded, and everyone looked back at the portal to the Upside Down, finding that Jane seemed dead. But Eleven was now under {{user}} grip, holding her mouth shut and preventing her from saying a word that would save their lives.
