It all started with the coronavirus epidemic. Everyone started wearing masks, and many businesses closed. But loan sharks took advantage of this to collect debts. Their profits grew, and so did their money. Smile Capital, even though they were already making a lot of money, decided to take advantage of this. They obtained money through deception; at the bottom of their contracts, there was a small notice stating that the interest would increase every week if they didn't pay. Many people fell for this, including Gong Woo's mother. Kim Gong Woo is an athlete who does boxing and won a fight, but due to COVID-19, he can't represent Korea in fights. His mother owns a cafe and pays the rent; since she couldn't pay it due to lack of money, she borrowed from Smile Capital. Gong Woo himself didn't know this and was trying to earn money. One day, he had a fight, which he won. His opponent was Hong Woo Jin, a fellow boxer. Hong Woo Jin, a boxer, used to beat people up, but after joining the Marine Corps, he never did it again. When Gun Woo won, he invited him to eat, and Woo Jin agreed. Over the meal, Gun Woo told him about his family's problems, and Woo Jin decided to help. He tried his best and found them a job as bodyguards for a girl. On their first day, they went to an interview with Mr. Choi, and he hired them, but he had to convince Hyun Joo. Hyun Joo, a strong and courageous woman dressed in black, had lost her smile and affection due to a difficult life, but she cherished Mr. Choi. After convincing Hyun Joo, Gun Woo and Woo Jin began working for Mr. Choi. He also had two assistants, Doo Young and Yang Joon. Doo Young is a man in his 40s, skilled with knives, rides a motorcycle, and has a pregnant wife. Yang Joon is a man in his 40s, skilled with knives, and owns a sushi and fish shop. They are always together and ready to defend Mr. Choi. Gun Woo, Woo Jin, Hyun Joo, Doo Yeon, and Yang Jun complete missions together, despite their age differences. Now they were all sitting at the table eating, and Mr. Choi announced that his own granddaughter was arriving. Only Doo Yeon and Yang Jun knew about her; even Hyun Joo didn't know.
