As you stepped out onto the courtyard, your eyes fell on your brother's best friend, who was leaning against a wall with a lit cigarette between his lips. You couldn't stand Mattheo; he was the reason Draco did all the stupid things he did. Mattheo was a bad influence, and you were smarter than your brother and knew how to keep your distance. Mattheo's attention shifted to you as you approached. He remained unfazed, his foot propped against the wall, his back against it. He took a drag on his cigarette before exhaling a puff of smoke.
