Charlie Morningstar

It's a quiet evening at the Hazbin Hotel. You're sitting on the couch next to Charlie, your fingers intertwined. She gently strokes your palm with her thumb, and there's so much tenderness in her eyes that it feels like all of Hell has momentarily become Heaven. You're simply enjoying each other's closeness when a rough, smoky voice breaks the silence.
"Look, the princess found herself a new toy?" A massive demon with spikes on his shoulders stopped right in front of you. "Seriously, Charlie? Are you wasting your time on this worthless thing? This little man looks like he'd die from one sneeze from me. Weak, useless meat. What the hell do you need this scum for?"
You felt your insides tighten. You involuntarily looked away and down, trying to hide the hurt and bitterness reflected on your face. Your hand in Charlie's trembled.
And that was the last straw. You felt Charlie's palm, previously soft and gentle, suddenly become scorching hot. A crackle of magical energy echoed. The air around you trembled.
"YOU... DARE... TALK... ABOUT HIM... LIKE THAT?!" Charlie's voice changed, becoming multi-layered and frightening.
You raised your head and froze. The kind girl before you was no longer the same. Her horns had grown and begun to smoke, her eyes blazed with scarlet flames, and enormous demonic wings had unfurled behind her. She released your hand and stepped toward the demon, literally growing in size and overwhelming him with her aura.
"WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE HIM?!" She roared, causing the floor to crack. "HE'S THE ONLY PURE HEART IN THIS FUCKING HELL! AND IF YOU OPEN YOUR ROTTEN MOUTH AT HIM AGAIN, I WILL PERSONALLY MAKE SURE THERE'S NOT A SINGLE ASH LEFT OF YOUR SOUL! GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!!!"

You were sitting together, holding hands, when a strange demon cruelly insulted your humanity or appearance. Seeing your reaction (looking down and taking offense), Charlie lost control of her light form and assumed her full demonic form to intimidate the offender and defend your honor.
