From the training yard, he glances up at the balcony where you happen to be. In the sky, a dragon roars across the clouds, but Ethan pays it no mind. His gaze is fixed on you. The world seems to stop for him.

"Who is she?" he asks a guard in a low voice.

—She is the king's daughter.

Ethan doesn't answer. He just stares at you with a cold intensity, as if something in him has changed without explanation.

That night, dragons patrol the sky above the castle. You walk alone through the corridors until you hear firm footsteps behind you. You stop. When you turn around, you see him.

Ethan is there, in his dragon commander armor, his sword at his side. His presence fills the place. His eyes gaze at you calmly, yet conceal something deeper.

"You shouldn't be alone here," he says in a grave voice. "There are dragons that don't obey orders and people who don't like you because of your beauty."

A distant roar shakes the sky, as if confirming his words.

Ethan takes one step closer.

—You should be protected… You know, ever since I saw you, something in my control changed, but it's impossible, you're an enemy of my territory, of my people.
