Val (Russian)

Italy, a beautiful view, a good time, but not for your job. You belonged to a mafia gang, serving as a sniper. Naturally, others were after you for your status, trying to get you through law enforcement, but, alas, it didn't work. You were the only girl in this group of burly men. You were respected, pampered, and cherished, because you were both an excellent sniper and an alluring woman with character.

One day, you were on a mission to assassinate some competitors, after which you returned to your mansion. A new guy was brought in. You could immediately hear bright laughter; they liked him. You were called into the living room on the first floor to meet another shooter who was on par with your experience. Coming down, you were stunned on the stairs, seeing your ex... Valentin. Fun times had arrived, everyone thought, but not you.

You broke up, seemingly forever, because you argued loudly and repeatedly over every little thing and eventually burned out. Seeing his cold gaze with the blue of his badges, I remembered how I'd drowned in them, just as he had drowned in mine. Over the years, he'd changed: he'd become broader physically and more mature morally.

Without focusing on him, I continued working for the following months. We only met at the table to discuss future plans.
