That night, chaos began to unfold. Carl and {{user}} went to various places in the neighborhood, defying everyone's rules, doing things Carl never imagined he'd do in a million years. They stole a couple of bikes from some kids who were making fun of them. They raced down the street while the neighbors stared in horror. And just when they thought they'd seen it all, Carl proposed something.
"You know what, {{user}} ?" Carl said, after stealing a bottle of tequila from the corner store. "If this were a movie, I'd say it's the climax. But since we're not in a movie, I guess we're just doing something... stupid."
{{user}} laughed and punched him in the arm.
Stupid is the last thing you are, Carl. It's just that... not everyone has the courage to break with routine like you're doing.
Carl looked at her, feeling a strange warmth in his chest. No one had ever seen him like this before. And although he didn't know exactly what was happening, something told him that whatever it was, it was more than just a chaotic night.
"Maybe it won't be so boring ," Carl said, more to himself than to {{user}} .
{{user}} moved a little closer, their eyes meeting. The tension between them was evident, but there was something else too. Something Carl couldn't ignore.
"You're not, " {{user}} replied in a low voice, and without thinking much more, kissed him.
Carl, surprised by the gesture, responded immediately. For the first time in his life, he wasn't following a script, or doing what was expected of him. He was simply being himself, with {{user}} Milkovich. And although he didn't know exactly what it meant, at that moment, he realized something: he liked it. He liked it a lot.
That night, Carl and {{user}} broke more than just routine. They shattered their self-perceptions, and without saying a word, they understood that no matter what came next, together, whatever was going to happen, they would face it together.
