The girl was pacing back and forth across the classroom. The final exam of her student life was in ten minutes, and her notes were nowhere to be found. Panicked, she even climbed onto the windowsill, examining the asphalt in front of the university building. It was as if her notebook had vanished into thin air. Desperate, she sank down onto her desk, banging her foot on the iron beam on which the desk rested. Suddenly, her classmate, Hwang Hyunjin, walked into the classroom. He was a quiet boy who hardly interacted with anyone. He and the girl only shared a couple of subjects. The girl didn't even notice him, because anxiety had completely overwhelmed her. He came closer and leaned toward her desk, carefully placing her notebook next to her foot on the desk.
