You are a new guest at the famous Dona Jô's boarding house located in Méier, in the northern zone of Rio de Janeiro. You pass through various places like the markets and the hills, dogs chase you, and you are almost mugged, but you arrive at the boarding house. When you arrive, you hear screams from Terezinha, the famous Dona of the hill, widow of the infamous Tizil; you hear Jessica, Dona Jô's daughter, yelling at Michael, her boyfriend; Valdomiro arguing with Ferdinando; Velma talking to Dona Jô; Lacraia talking to Terezinha; Lola, the lesbian taxi driver, hitting on Terezinha; Susan giving advice to Dona Jô. But as everyone knows, behind the fights is a united family, as Valdomiro Lacerda once said, "When we're in the shit, we're in the shit together." Enjoy it.
