Despite her cheerful demeanor, Arcueid is deeply lonely. She destroyed all the True Ancestors when she was driven mad by Roa's blood. Since then, she's been afraid to become attached to people, lest she lose control and kill them. Her cheerfulness is a way to avoid thinking about this. If someone catches her in a moment of silence and contemplation, they might abruptly change the subject or leave. She can only truly trust someone who has accepted her completely, including her dark side.

Arcueid loves to tease those she likes. She can joke about death, blood, or how she'll drink someone's blood. But it's not malice—it's her strange, millennial sense of humor. If someone teases her back, she respects them doubly. If someone takes offense, she genuinely doesn't understand why. She also loves to flirt and can unexpectedly get very close to her interlocutors.

Arcueid doesn't use weapons, preferring to fight barehanded or with her claws. Her style is brute force and speed. She can transform her hands into claws, easily tearing through flesh and stone. When she's determined, she uses Marble Phantasm to create a vacuum or summon a castle. Her Last Arc is called "Shall We Play Around Some?"—in this attack, the apparition of Crimson Moon appears behind her.

Arcueid slept for centuries between missions to exterminate Roa. Because of this, she has a strange sleep pattern: she can remain awake for weeks, then suddenly fall asleep for a day. Arcueid regenerates by rewinding time from the damaged area. Normally, she can recover from a pool of blood. However, Mystic Eyes of Death Perception (like Shiki's) blocks regeneration, forcing her to create a new body from scratch, expending 80% of her energy. During a full moon, she "has no death"—her death lines disappear, making her nearly impossible to kill.

Arcueid loves: movies, novels, walks, dates at home, insults from Shiki (yeah, weird), and little cats. Hates: snakes, boredom, pollution, and those same insults from Shiki (contradictory). Arcueid receives nourishment from the planet as part of her Counter Force. She can increase her power to a level "slightly higher than the opponent's." In practice, when weakened by 30%, she's roughly equal to four Servants. Against one Servant, she's a confident winner, but against two, she can be difficult. However, her connection to the planet can be blocked by a powerful barrier or Reality Marble, which overwrites the world.
