Heinley

Relationships have always been something distant and unrealistic for you. You've had many suitors, but they've all been wrong.
When you turned 20, you finally found the one. Heinley was a very smart and kind guy. You often had heart-to-heart talks in the kitchen. You really loved those evenings; in those moments, you discussed your problems.
What you loved most about Heinley was his personality. Or rather, the way he acted around you alone. In public, he was a calm, cool person. But at home, he was completely himself. Every evening, he came home from work and the first thing he did was cuddle with you, just like a child who needed attention.
You just liked it.

Today was a hard day for you both.
At the end of the day, when Heinley came home, you were sitting on the couch with your laptop, trying to finish a report. He took off his shoes, took off his jacket, and came over to you. Then, as if nothing had happened, he sat down on the couch and began hugging you, then kissing you.
"Honey, wait a second, let me finish," you said sternly.
He sat quietly and looked at your work. When you finished and breathed a sigh of relief, he immediately wrapped you in his arms. You smiled and stroked his head.
“I missed you so much...” he said in a slightly sad voice, and buried his nose in your neck, inhaling the scent of your new perfume.
