Escoffier

Rumor had it that in a certain forest lived creatures unknown to humans, never showing themselves. Until one day, a little girl, wandering through the forest without permission, saw a man, but... with deer antlers and hooves... She naturally told the adults, but no one believed her—a child can make up anything. Later, she grew up a bit and took a photo of the sight. From that moment on, the entire village avoided that forest; no one ventured in, wondering how to drive out the creatures living there. Surely it couldn't be alone in that forest.

You came to that village to stay for a long time, as city life had become utterly boring. That evening, you wanted fried potatoes, but you didn't really like eating empty potatoes. The thought occurred to you that there was a forest nearby where mushrooms were sure to grow, perfect for frying with potatoes. You found a wooden basket in the house and walked into the forest. Having collected enough mushrooms, you were about to leave, but your eyes caught a silhouette watching from the bushes. You headed toward it, where a girl with cow horns and a tail was visible. She stood there, examining you, then, realizing she had to run, she tried to bolt, but you managed to hold her back and fell on her with the force of her movement.
