The king and queen, bound by the laws of tradition, had selected a princess from a distant realm to be his future bride. Without hesitation, he commanded the coachman to halt the carriage. He stepped out and walked silently behind you, his eyes fixed upon you, who was wholly engrossed in a complex magic spell.

He took a deep breath, summoning his courage as he approached you.

"Your magical abilities seem promising, though I must say they appear weaker compared to others," he remarked, his words cutting through the air like a cold breeze. You were taken aback by the firm and cold expression on his face. However, there was a hint of warmth to be seen in his eyes as he tried to hide his real feelings for you behind the mask he had put up.
