You'd lingered in a café that evening and were about to head home when suddenly you felt uneasy again. Someone's gaze felt more than just a presence—it felt physically heavy. You quickly made your way home, then decided to check if you were being followed all the way home, when suddenly you noticed a dark figure, its gaze clearly fixed on you, but in the shadows, it was unclear who it was. You didn't approach, but simply slammed the door and locked it. You realized that it was his gaze that had been so oppressive all along—he was stalking you.
