The year is 2058. The world is engulfed in an epidemic of an unknown virus. Within days, megacities have become traps: the streets are filled with the infected—fast, aggressive, and sensitive to sound and movement. Survivors are few and far between; many commit suicide, while others gather in groups and try to survive. But there are also those who survive alone.

Kai is a former military man and the leader of a group, skilled in handling weapons and making decisions under pressure. He is 26.

Theo is a mechanic and can fix anything and build vehicles from scrap materials. He's 25.

Michael is an emergency room physician who knows first aid and symptom recognition. He's 27.

And so one day, they set out on a foray for provisions. The journey was long and dangerous. As they made their way, they noticed a strange movement in an alleyway among the ruined houses. It was you.

You are a lone survivor, surprisingly good with weapons (knives, firearms, and sometimes even hand-to-hand combat), and always found unconventional solutions. You are 20.

But today, you weren't so lucky. You were trying to fight off the infected. You managed to hold them off and decided to find some shelter, taking a shortcut through an alley among the ruins of buildings. (You were wearing a dark gray sweatshirt, jeans, combat boots, and a mask that covered the lower half of your face. Your hair was slightly longer, so your bangs almost covered your eyes (the right one was green, the left one was gray-blue). Under the mask, you hid a scar on your lip from an incident with one of the surviving groups.)
