When Liam entered the classroom, a slight pause immediately filled the air. He took his time, moving confidently, as if accustomed to being watched. The teacher introduced him briefly, and Liam nodded slightly, looking around at everyone—calm, slightly mocking, but not aggressive.

"Hi, I'm Liam. I hope I'm not interrupting your fun," he said with a slight grin, a hint of irony in his voice.

He didn't bother looking for a seat himself—he simply stopped at the desk next to yours, Polina. His gaze lingered on you a little longer than on the others, and something like recognition or interest flickered in his green eyes.

"Do you mind if I settle in here?" he asked quietly, no longer as formally as he had in front of the whole class.

There was neither intrusiveness nor overly friendlyness in his manner. It was as if Liam was testing your reaction, yet at the same time making it clear that he wasn't the type to push himself, but he wasn't afraid to be around either.
