Robocar Poli: Poli's Pirate Adventure 2

It was a sunny day in Broomstown. Roy the fire engine and Poli the police car, who were in robot form, were tidying up the beach. There was a lot of flotsam and jetsam everywhere. "Whew, never seen this much flotsam and jetsam before." Poli said to Roy. "You're telling me." Roy responded. "It's a good thing we decided to pitch in and clean this place up. This stuff is dangerous for the wildlife." He added. Poli nodded and went back to work. Then he looked down. "Huh?!" He said. He saw a rolled up piece of paper in the sand among the flotsam and jetsam. He walked over to it and used his grabber to pick it out of the sand before dropping it into his metallic palm and examining it. "Roy! Come look at this!" He said. "What is it?!" Roy asked running over to join him. "Look what I found." Poli said showing the piece of paper to Roy who studied it closely. "Looks like an old rolled up piece of paper. But it looks centuries old." Roy said. "Maybe it got carried here with the tide." Poli said. Roy unrolled the piece of paper and both were amazed by what was on it. "Is this...... what I think it is?" Poli asked. On the paper were pictures of an island and a dotted line leading to a big red X. Roy instantly knew what it was. "It's a treasure map!" Roy said. "But what's it doing here?" Poli wondered. At that moment, a large wave came toward them! Poli and Roy ran but the wave was quicker and came crashing down right on top of the two, dragging them out to sea. "POLI!!!!!!! POLI!!!!! HELP!!!!! HELP ME!!!! I CAN'T SWIM!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!! I'M DROWNING!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!! AAH!!!!!!" Roy screamed as another wave pushed him up into the air effortlessly, landing with a thud on the deck of a small wooden rowing boat. Roy picked himself up and looked around. "HUH?!?!?! WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?!?! WHERE AM I?!?!!?!?" He asked. All around him, waves rose and fell like crazy and storm clouds loomed in the sky. Lightning flashed and thunder rumbled and rain came down in torrents. Roy was scared and to make things worse, Poli was nowhere in sight. "POLI!!!!!!! POLI!!!!!!!!! WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?!?! POLI!!!!!!!!!!" Roy shouted to the wind but no reply came. At that moment, there was a thud and the sound of wood smashing. Roy looked down and saw that the boat he was on had crashed into a reef of rocks and with the force of the impact, a hole had been created. Water began to seep in through the hull of the boat, filling it fast. Roy was starting to panic even more now. "HELP!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!! SOMEONE PLEASE!!!!!!! I'M SINKING!!!!!!! HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP ME!!!!!!!!!! I'M SINKING!!!!!!!!! SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!! MAYDAY!!!!!!!! MAYDAY!!!!!!!! HELP ME!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!! SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!!!!!!" Roy bellowed. It was then Roy heard something in the distance. A ship's bell. At that moment, a large pirate galleon that Poli's colour scheme, his uniquely shaped siren on the middle mast and the words "Guardian of the Oceans" came into view. Roy's fear turn to relief upon seeing it. "A SHIP!!!!!!!!!! THANK GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!! I'M NOT ALONE OUT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!" Roy said. He stood up and began to wave his arms frantically. "HELLO!!!!!!!!!!! HELLO!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!! HELP ME!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!! I'M OVER HERE!!!!!!!!!! OVER HERE!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!! I'M SINKING!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE SAVE ME!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!" Roy cried. The ship pulled up alongside Roy and a rope ladder was lowered toward him. "YES!!!!!!!! THEY'RE RESCUING ME!!!!!!!! I'M SAVED!!!!!!!!!!!!" Roy said. He grabbed the rope ladder and climbed it until he reached the ship's deck. He laid down on his back and panted heavily. "OH, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! YOU SAVED MY LIFE!!!!!!!!! I THOUGHT I WAS A GONER!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SAVING ME!!!!!!!!" He panted. "ARRRR, YE BE AHOY, SCALLYWAG!!!!!!!!! DAT'S WHA' THE CREW O' THE GUARDIAN O' THE OCEANS BE HERE FER!!!!!!!!! ALWAYS HELPIN' THOSE IN NEEDS 'N SAVIN' LIVES!!!!!!!!!" A pirate voice said. Roy looked up and saw a figure standing over him. It was Poli but he was dressed like a pirate. He now had a large blue pirate hat on his roof over his uniquely shaped siren, an eye patch on his right eye, a long black beard around his mouth and a long blue cape and his legs were painted black to resemble pirate boots. He even sported a picture of his car form wearing an eyepatch and pirate hat with two crisscrossing sets of handcuffs underneath it on his sides where a blue capital P usually sat. A sword was also sheathed on his back under the cape. The same picture on his sides was also on the hat he was wearing in white lining and on his right shoulder sat a parrot with blue and white feathers. Behind him were Amber the pink and white ambulance and Helly the green and white helicopter, also in pirate gear. Amber wore a dark pink tricorn pirate hat with white lining and a white feather in it as well as a brown sash over her left shoulder that had a sheathed syringe full of a pink liquid which she likely used for sedation in raids. Her legs were now painted dark magenta for boots and she wore a dark magenta pink cape over her shoulders. To top it all off, she had a glistening diamond earring attached to her right side view mirror. It made her look like the queen of the pirates. Helly on the other hand now had a green leather aviator helmet with retractable spyglass goggles over his eyes as well as a rapier held in place by a brown sash over his right shoulder and his propeller and tail wing were now wooden. "POLI?! AMBER?! HELLY?!" Roy asked incredulously. "WHAT THE...... WHAT'S GOING ON?! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU GUYS?!?! WHAT'S WITH ALL THE PIRATE GEAR?! YOU GUYS LOOK VERY DIFFERENT!!!!!!!!" "POLI?!?!??!?! AMBER?!?!?!??! HELLY?!?!?!?!?! HARRRR HARRR HARRR HARRR!!!!!!!!! WHA' KIND O' RIDICULOUS NAMES BE THOSE?!?!?!?!? I BE CAP'N LAWBEARD!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCOURGE O' ALL EVILDOERS 'N PROTECTOR O' THE BRINY DEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 'N THESE BE ME CREW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FIRST MATE PINKHEART 'N SKYCUTTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 'N LAST BUT CERTAINLY NAH LEAST, 'TIS ME PARROT COPPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Poli said, gesturing to Amber first, then Helly and then the parrot. Copper squawked, the sound mimicking Poli's siren noises. "WHAT?! CAPTAIN LAWBEARD?! NO, NO, IT CAN'T BE!! THIS MUST BE SOME KIND OF NIGHTMARE!!!" Roy said, looking around frantically. "SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG HERE!!!!! THIS ISN'T REAL!!!!!! I'M NOT IN A REALITY WHERE YOU ARE ALL PIRATES!!! I MUST STILL BE ON THAT BOAT IN THAT WATER FROM THE STORM!!!!! AND THIS IS JUST A DREAM!!! YES, THAT'S DEFINITELY EXACTLY WHAT IT IS!!!! THIS WHOLE THING IS UNDOUBTEDLY JUST AN ILLUSION!!!!!" Amber then walked over to Roy and gave him a hard slap on the back. "DID DAT FEEL LIKE AN ILLUSION, SCALLYWAG?!?!?!?!?!" She asked tauntingly. "OWWWWWW!!!!!!" Roy cried as he rubbed the back of his head. "OW, THAT ACTUALLY HURTS!!!!! I... I THINK..... I THINK THIS IS NOT A DREAM!!!!" He admitted, looking around some more. "I THINK THIS IS REAL!!!! I DON'T KNOW HOW, BUT THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING...... AND YOU GUYS REALLY ARE PIRATES NOW!!!!" "AYE, HEARTIE, DAT WE BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALWAYS 'AVE BEEN!!!!!!!!!!! ALWAYS WILL BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 'N WE BE NAH ANY ORDINARY PIRATES!!!!!!!!!!!! WE BE THE PIRATE RESCUE FORCE!!!!!!!!!!!! WE PROTECT THE OCEANS FROM PLUNDERERS 'N LOOTERS 'N RESCUE MAROONED SAILORS 'N LANDFOLK IN DANGER!!!!!!!!!!!" Poli said. "PIRATE RESCUE FORCE?!" Roy repeated incredulously. "YOU MEAN TO TELL ME ALL THIS TIME YOU AND YOUR CREW HAVE BEEN SAVING LIVES AND RESCUING MAROONED SAILORS WHILE ALSO PROTECTING THE OCEAN FROM PIRATES?!?!?!?!" He asked in shock. He then felt a lump in his pocket and he remembered the treasure map he found on the beach. "WAIT A MINUTE......" He said, taking out the map. He looked at it and then realization hit him. "THE TREASURE MAP! THAT'S WHY WE'RE HERE!!!!" Roy exclaimed, waving the map in the air. "I FOUND THIS ON THE BEACH IN BROOMSTOWN BEFORE THE WAVE HIT US! IT MUST HAVE WASHED UP FROM SOMEWHERE AROUND HERE!!! POLI—I MEAN CAPTAIN LAWBEARD—THIS IS WHAT GOT US SENT BACK IN TIME!!! WE HAVE TO FIND OUT WHO OWNED IT AND GET BACK TO OUR ERA!!!!"

He looked at Poli/Captain Lawbeard with desperate hope. "Please tell me you remember who this belonged to...!" "AYE!!!!!!!!!!!! ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Poli said snatching the map from Roy. "YOU?!" Roy said, taken aback. "YOU OWN THAT MAP?!" "AYE!!!!!!!!! A LONG TIME AGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'VE BEEN IN A MAGICAL COMA FER MORE THAN 400 YEARS BUT THANKS T' YE 'N YER GUARDS CARAVEL MATEY, I AM FINALLY BACK 'N READY T' DISH OUT JUSTICE ONCE MORE!!!!!!!!!!" Poli said.

A Robocar Poli special episode in which Poli and Roy are transported back in time to the age of pirates and Poli is turned into a pirate version of himself called Captain Lawbeard. Roy has to help him remember who he really is while trying to stay safe in the pirate world.
