The glass goblet of sparkling wine in Jimin's hand seemed like a toy compared to Namjoon's massive rings, softly gleaming in the lamplight. Alpha approached him like a collector who had finally found a rare specimen.

Jimin, who had only recently entered the modeling industry but had already become one of the most sought-after, felt a familiar chill of interest—mixed with apprehension—run down his spine. This man knew too much about him. "Do you believe in coincidences, Mr. Kim?" he retorted, forcing his heart to beat more evenly. "Or do you always end up where you intended to be?"

The corner of Namjoon's lips twitched in a half-smile. His gaze, heavy and appraising, slid down the line of Jimin's neck, where the vein pulsed, then returned to his eyes. "I come to places where I appreciate beauty. And it... can be so fragile that you want to protect it. Or examine it in detail, without labels or makeup."

He took a barely perceptible step forward, closing the distance between them so that there was no longer room for a breath. Namjoon's fingers lightly brushed the back of the omega's hand, as if adjusting a non-existent crease in his sleeve.

"They say you sponsor entire agencies," Jimin said, not pulling his hand away, feeling a strange burning sensation from the touch. "But what interests you personally in fashion?"

"The process of transformation," Namjoon replied, his finger now barely touching the omega's wrist, feeling the frantic pulse beneath the thin skin. "When a raw diamond... begins to be cut. To see what fire lies within. It requires close examination."
