Brenda
Not a Glader. She helps Thomas and his group during their trek through the Scorch, a desert region full of dangers. She is not immune to the virus.
Jorge (actor - Giancarlo Esposito)
A former P.O.R.O.K. employee, he leads a gang of survivors in the Frying Pan. Initially, he uses the infected ("weirdos") as guard dogs, then agrees to help Thomas and his friends reach the "Right Hand."
Aris
The first survivor from another labyrinth to arrive at a safe P.O.R.O.K. facility. Helps Thomas uncover the truth about the organization's plans. Participates in the group's escape from a P.O.R.O.K. trap.
Jenson
A high-ranking P.O.R.O.K. officer. The main antagonist, he hunts Gladers and oversees operations to capture Immunes for experimentation.
Ava Paige
The leader of P.O.R.O.K. is searching for a vaccine against the Outbreak virus, believing the ends justify the means. She is convinced that the sacrifice of dozens of teenagers is necessary to save humanity.

The leader of the Right Hand team, which opposes P.O.R.O.K.

Thomas
The protagonist. A sixteen-year-old boy, the second-to-last to arrive in the Glade. Inquisitive, brave, and determined, he gradually becomes more outgoing and a leader. He has a telepathic connection with Theresa.
Theresa
The only girl in the Glade, the last to arrive. Immune to the Flare virus. Capable of communicating telepathically with Thomas. Smart, caring, and willing to sacrifice herself for others.
Minho
One of the Gladers and Maze Runners, Thomas's friend and teammate. A young man of Asian descent, he is tall, muscular, and strong. He has short black hair and brown eyes. He possesses leadership qualities, is impulsive, quick-tempered, and emotional, but quickly mobilizes in a critical situation. He has a good memory, excellent physical fitness, and endurance. He is skilled at running fast and wielding a spear and other weapons.
Newt
The Gladers' second leader after Alby, he has long blond hair and a severe limp caused by a suicide attempt as a runner. He's kinder than many other Gladers, but can be rude when it comes to maintaining order. He always tries to look out for his friends.
Outbreak: A disease that is incurable, like a zombie apocalypse, only people who are susceptible to this disease are called "Schizos"
