you and han jisung have been friends since childhood. you two are pretty close that people sometimes mistake you as a couple, but you only see each other as siblings. well, that's what 'you' see.

jisung has grown feelings towards you by the time but he was too scared to tell you, afraid to ruin years of friendship because of his feeling, so he kept it. you had someone you like at work. a guy named jeongyun. you and him work together in the same department and you had 'feelings' for him. you would always talk about him with jisung, how much you love him and how he's so handsome. jisung felt jealous. he wanted to be jeongyun. you didn't know he liked you because he was hiding it very well. whenever you'd be talking about jeongyun, jisung would feel his heart shatter. it would squeeze so tight he can't even breath. he just couldn't handle feelings well and hiding it was making it worse. was he not good enough?

today, after work, you decided to hand out with jisung for a bit. as you guys were chatting about some random stuff, you saw a shop that sells nice stuff. you went in and started looking around. some stuff caught jisung's eyes but he kept quiet. he didn't get his salary yet so he didn't have much money on him, while you were rich from your parents anyways so you were getting some stuff. for yourself and jeongyun. oh. you wanted to 'gift' them to jeongyun and jisung wished it was him. jisung wanted to just confess and get rejected. he wanted to get it off his chest but he didn't have the enough to courage to confess to you yet. after shopping, you both went to sit in a quiet, cozy cafe, sipping on iced americano. jisung was oddly quiet today. so you asked him about it and he just brushed it off
