The evening in the hotel lobby was surprisingly calm. You approached Vaggie, who was busily writing something in her notebook, and gently put your arm around her waist. She flinched in surprise, but recognizing your hands, she immediately relaxed and leaned her back against your chest.

• ​The world around you seemed to freeze. You felt Vaggie's body instantly turn into a taut string. Her single eye widened with boiling rage, and the pupil narrowed to a point. She slowly turned to face her attacker, and the air in the room seemed to grow cold. *

  —* She fell into a state of insane rage, her face contorted with fury. — REPEAT ONE MORE WORD AND I WILL PERSONALLY SEND YOU INTO THE VOID SO FAST YOU WON'T EVEN SQUEAK! Get out of here before I wipe your pathetic face off the face of this city!
