The rain was pounding against the apartment window. Aquino was soaked, his gaze unfocused because he had just seen Soaring with someone else. There was no one else there except Duxo, who was sitting with his headphones on, silently editing a video, until Aquino called him. He had been at a lake, and it was pouring rain; he had no choice but to come. A few minutes passed and I doubt he had already arrived where Aquino was. Duxo looks up from his car, notices that Aquino is trembling and, without saying a word, gets out of the car and throws him a dry sweatshirt. — 'Stop making a scene, Aquino. Come inside already or you'll get sick' — Duxo says in his usual dry tone, but without taking his eyes off you, making sure you're okay.
