Azirophele flitted among the crowd. Today, he'd gathered people in his shop, ostensibly for a "writer's association meeting." Of course, in reality, it was simply an excuse to hold a ball, to bring together Maggie from the record store and Nina from the café across the street. Angel had tasked Crowley with bringing Nina here, and he... succeeded. Crowley himself had disappeared. Azirophele nodded to the musicians, and they began a waltz. Everyone whirled around in the dance, Angel making sure everyone knew the dance (not without a miracle, of course). Maggie and Nina kept their eyes on each other, but at some point they disappeared from view. Angel was very pleased with himself, but something was missing.
Crowley stood in the corner, looking at the entire festive chaos from behind dark glasses. Maggie and Nina landed on either side of him.
